Beach Clean Up Day at San-O

One thing that we’re really passionate about at Bodyboarding Adventures is teaching our students about the ocean and our beach environment.  That’s why we’ve partnered with the San Clemente Beach Conservation Program, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving our local beaches, to help develop a curriculum for our summer camp that’s focused on respect for the ocean, our beach ecosystem and sustainability.

We recently participated in one of their Beach Clean Up days, which take place every 3rd Saturday of the month at various beaches near San Clemente.  It was such a fun time and we met some awesome people – our little guy even found an orca tooth on the beach (which, of course, we left behind in it’s rightful home)!   Check out their site for more information, upcoming events and to donate to this worthwhile cause.
